When it comes to boating, Bill Koeppel was practically born on the water. It all started with his own boat purchasing at the age of 12 when he acquired a 15 foot boat with money he earned cleaning pools.

Later in life, his oldest son Harrison came perilously close to being delivered on his 46 foot Hatteras. Today, when he is not cruising on his 65 foot Hatteras sportfish named Enchantress, his buying and selling of yachts continue to fulfill the requirements of a satisfied clientele. Having owned both sail and power boats, and cruising from Maine to the Bahamas, Bill is well aware of the importance of owning a quality yacht when traveling to remote and unspoiled destinations. For this reason, Hatteras has become his vessel of choice. Having owned three Hatteras yachts and supervised major refits on all of them, Bill is aware of how they're built from the inside out. In the process, he has developed a close working relationship with the factory and several supporting vendors.

As a recreational boater, the holder of a 100 ton Captain's license, a father, a husband and a yacht broker, the fact that Bill has stayed with Hatteras for many years is a testament that he entrusts Hatteras with his most valuable asset of all - his family.
