When it comes to yachting, Kelly Esser has been on the water his whole life. Starting as far back as age 4 going boating with his father on his 36 Chris Craft sport fish. Moving up the chain to his first boat a 20 Mako. Kelly went to work on the jungle queen as a crewmember at age 16, learning everything he could to work towards his captains license and become a captain of the jungle queen.
The next move took him to Cape Ann Towing, a local company that introduced Kelly to and taught him about the yachting world. Moving yachts up to 425 every day of the week, gave him a good insight into the local waterways, how yachts handle, and the local marinas and shipyards that the average crew member would not know. Today he has a 1600 ton captains license and a personal resume that signify 16 years of experience working on yachts of 80 to 175. Starting with some of them from day one with the laying of the keel as well as some incredible refits. He also has a great extensive cruising knowledge of the Bahamas.
Now Kelly has switched gears to move into the broker world where he is combining his knowledge, experience and people skills. He has a great work ethic and continuously strives to learn more and become a better member of the yachting community. He is a new father to a beautiful son and a little girl of 6 who plans to someday follow in her dads footsteps.
